Delegates and Officers data is held only for as long as required in order for the Association to conduct its business and in the event of membership not being renewed for any reason, will be removed from the Club’s database within a week of non renewal. Message FROM THE CHAIRMAN - DENIS HOLBOROW
I would like to thank and Officers and Delegates of all Wessex League Clubs for their help in the last season. It was another successful year with just a few issues on the way. Congratulations to Solihull on winning the Wessex for the first time.
The 2026-2027 season looks very exciting as we have new teams, a returning club and tthree existing clubs putting a second team into the League:
Joining: Charnwood (Loughborough) into Midland; Avon Valley (Warwick) to Mercia.
Returning: Clevedon (Somerset) into Central
Extra: Westlecot B into Cotswold; Whiteknights B in to Thames, Atherley Greens in Coastal
I will be standing down as Chairman of the Wessex League after the 2026-2027 season due to personal issues so the League will be looking for my successor. Please spread this around clubs in case someone is interested in taking on this position, Meanwhile, I wish you all the very best in the coming season and look forward to the 2026-2027 Grand Final being held at North Wilts IBC.
The Wessex Bowls League was founded in 1983 as a premier bowls league offering top class competition to major indoor clubs on a regular basis.
