Wessex    Bowls    League

Message from the Wessex League Chairman - David Murley

Congratulations to Dolphin IBC - Wessex League Champions for the 2022-23 season with the Final being held at Malvern Hills IBC.

The Executive is very pleased to extend a warm welcome to the newest Club to join the league, that of Melton IBC, who will be competing in the Midland region.

The Executive hope that all the Clubs that joined the League for the 2022-2023 season enjoyed their first season and that they will remain with us for the foreseeable future

We were sorry to lose Rivermead IBC and more recently Bournemouth IBC due to local actions of their relevant Councils. We wish all their bowlers the very best for the future and thank them for their considerable contributions to the League over a number of years.

Your Executive Committee wish each and every member Club an enjoyable and competitive season, played in the usual manner, where our sport is always the winner.
